Pen Camera
A device like this, placed in a shirt or coat pocket, could be used to film a shuffle, locate key cards in the deck being shuffled and cut, or used to record the information regarding the sequence of cards as dealt and stored in the discard rack on a gaming table. You will note the USB connector. Though not myself an electronic wizard, I believe a device such as this could be adapted to automatically download in realtime to a wireless device and transmit to a computer for analysis of a shuffle, film sequences of cards in a false-shuffle scam, or other applications within the casino environment on a number of different games, including all table games as well as sports book advantage play.. It is based upon a pinhole camera and carries its own batteries. It could be used as-is, with minor modifications to adapt to a wireless device rather than a mini-recorder. Such a tool also has applications in Casino Surveillance, for covert observation of suspects within the staff of the casino.
